One Piece Set Codes Explained

Every One Piece card carries a printed code such as OP05-006 or ST18-002. Learning to read it tells you what kind of product the card came from and gets you to the right card page much faster.

The letters identify the set type. OP is a main booster, the large seasonal release with the most cards and the SEC-tier chase cards in it. ST is a starter deck, a ready-to-play product; most of its cards are inexpensive, though some are competitive staples.

EB is an extra booster, a smaller supplementary set. PRB is a premium booster, which packs in a much higher share of special-art cards.

Separately there are promotional cards handed out at events or bundled with products. Some of these are the most valuable cards in the game, particularly the serial-numbered ones.

The two digits after the letters are the set number, and the three digits after the dash are the card number within it. So OP05-006 is card 6 of the fifth main booster.

The catch: the same code is used for both the English and Japanese editions. Cards sharing a code across languages are different cards to the market and are not worth the same, so always read the language alongside the code when checking a price.
